13. can we find salvation in other religions or by other intermediaries?

You may have the belief that the salvation of our souls can be accessible to everybody, regardless of the religion that we follow, and regardless of the god/ess that we worship. You may also think that a lot of good works during life will be an extra attribute that would give us a better place in the after life.

 

Jesus, aware of our thoughts, has made the answer clear. His answer is found in the Bible, the most authoritative book, written exclusively by God (we recommended you read items 1 and 2). This response in particular, is found in the book of John, chapter 14 and verse 6, and it says the following:

 

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” John 14 :6  

 

This indicates that there is no salvation by any means or belief other than by Jesus Christ. There is no need for any intermediary (religion or person) so that we can reach God, only Jesus Christ.

 

We therefore need to put our faith in Jesus Christ and Him alone so that we can be saved. No other religion (Islam, Mormonism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Catholicism, etc ....) or any other intermediary (Ala, the Virgin Mary, saints, philosophers, angel Moroni, any angel or any person, animal etc...) can lead us to the salvation of our souls.

 

Let us put our faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins and for the salvation of our soul. Let us follow His ways and His will, written in the Bible, so that we can be saved and come to the Father (God).

 

Would you like to say a prayer and invite Jesus Christ into your life?, Go somewhere quiet, ask God to open your heart and say the following:

 

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I renounce my sins. I repent and i’m asking You to forgive me. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and I thank You wholeheartedly.

 

Now, I invite You to come into my life and into my heart. By faith, I receive You as my personal Savior and I make You my Lord and my master; I put my life in Your hands.

 

Thank You, for You not only died to give me eternal life, but rose again to live Your life in me and through me.

 

I am ready to acknowledge You as my Lord before men, to have constant dependence of the glorious Holy Spirit and to live in obedience to Your direction.

 

Thank You, for according to your Word, You have come to me and have made me a child of God.

 

Thank You, because You have cleansed me, forgiven my sins, and given me everlasting life. In Jesus's name, Amen
